Dion Campaign Finished

I don't think the Globe has picked a winner in the entire time I've been a reader. So, when I saw that the editors in their wisdom had chosen to honour Dion with their endorsement, I knew for sure that his campaign was finished.

Well done M. Dion, and well fought. You have made a fine Minister, and you will again soon I'm sure.

Actually, the Globe endorsed the conservatives in 2006. They won. ** cough, cough **

Actually, the Globe is a conservative newspaper so they will endorse whoever benefits the Conservatives the best.

First it was Iggy, but they got burned by his embarassing gaffes.

Now, it's Dion.

I've never looked at the globe as a conservative newspaper. It's probably one of the better ones out there. Or maybe I just like their sports pages.

And, I decided to throw my undeclared vote to Dion. I like him and I think if more people started looking at substance instead of hype he has a pretty good platform.

Just a few more days then all this will be put to rest.

I'm not picking a winner. I think there are too many candidates who will do a good job to worry about that stuff now. I just want it to be over so I can stop getting all these emails!

The globe isn't a conservative newspaper, it's just a habit of intellectually lazy people to dismiss any media outlet they disagree with as being biased against them. I'm sure there are as many thousands of liberals who decry the G+M as being conservative as there are Tories who decry it for being a left-wing rag. Surf the Globe forums one time and you'll see.
